Do I need to book an appointment or can I just walk-in?
If you'd prefer, feel free to just walk-in. If you do know when you'd like an appointment, it is best to book to minimise your waiting time.
How long is an appointment?
An appointment with the doctor is usually 15-30 minutes. If you already know what tests or medicines you would like, you can proceed straight to see a nurse.
Do I need to speak a doctor before testing or treatment?
If you already know what tests or treatment you would like, there is no need to speak to a doctor beforehand. You can proceed straight to see our nurse for almost all tests and most treatments.
How will I receive my test results? And when I receive them?
Test results are sent to you by email, unless specify another communication method preference.
Can I have medicine delivered to me without a prescription?
Yes, we are able to do this. Our doctor will quickly review the medicine requested (prescription fee of 300 Baht is added) and we'll let you know as soon as your medicine is ready for collection or out for delivery to you.
What travel vaccines should I have if I'm going to __________?
Do ask us for specific recommendations before your travels. Let us know what country you will visit and the duration you'll be there - one of team members will get back to you as soon as possible.
What vaccines should I have for Thailand?
Dr Donna recommends those living in Bangkok/ Thailand/ South East Asia and those visiting this area (travellers) ensure that they are up-to-date on the following vaccinations:
- Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis
- Poliomyelitis
- Measles
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Japanese Encephalitis
- Meningococcal meningitis
- Rabies
I am unable to attend the clinic, do you offer any alternative consultations?
MedConsult can arrange home or hotel visits at very short notice, and traffic permitting, our doctor can usually arrive at the requested location within 1 hour of receiving the call. The prices for a home or hotel visit are as follows:
- Brief visit to review medical issue or follow up visit : 2,500-3,800 THB
- Acute medical problem requiring assessment, diagnosis and treatment : 3,000 – 5,500 THB
- Lengthy home visit involving patient assessment, liaison with relatives, coordination and outside specialists : 4,800 THB
​Dr Donna can carry out consultations by telephone or Skype for those who are unable to visit the clinic or just want reassurance about a concern or potential medical issue.

Which appointment should I book?
You can either select:
I need a medical certificate for my work permit/ for travel/ visa purposes/ for my driving licence. Can I get this sent to me by email without coming to the clinic?
Yes, we can send this by email to you in most cases without the need to visit the clinic. We would ask you to complete a short health questionnaire. For travel and work leave medical certificates, we will arrange a short video consultation with the doctor to approve this. The medical certificate will be sent by email to you shortly after this.
Can I order these medicines (specify name and dose) ? How much would this cost?
We stock all medicines available in Thailand and Dr Donna can give a suitable alternative in the rare case that requested medicine is not available in Thailand.

Can I have emergency PEP or routine PrEP supplied?
Yes, we can definitely provide this. For emergency PEP (1750 Baht), please come as soon as possible or we can deliver this to you .
What Botox or Filler treatment should I have to achieve these results?
Before any botox and/ or dermal filler treatment, you can discuss what results you are hoping to see and our doctor will offer the best options for this. You can have plenty time to decide what is best for you.
