Cannabis is a psychoactive drug derived from Indian hemp plants such as Cannabis sativa and Cannabis indica. It is often also known as marijuana or weed and used for medical or recreational purposes.
The main active chemical in cannabis is THC (delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol). This releases a chemical called dopamine that gives you a euphoric, relaxed feeling.
The new law by the FDA in Thailand allows medical use of cannabis to treat different ailments, provided the person has been approved by the doctor. The doctor should also have a medical license to be able to prescribe cannabis, as shown here.
Medical Marijuana could be prescribed to treat:
· Muscle spasms
· Nausea from Cancer
· Crohn’s disease
