Tests are most accurate 2 weeks after potential exposure. If you want to retest after recent treatment, you should wait 2 weeks after completing treatment for gonorrhoea and 6 weeks for chlamydia. The standard test checks for genital infection.

Full instructions are provided on how to take the sample.

- If you are female, this involves an easy vaginal self swab sample.

- If you are male, this involves a first catch urine sample.

You may want to add oral or rectal swabs to your order if you have had oral or rectal sexual contact.
