Most Bangkok clinics open at ten. Thonglor opens at 7am and Silom at 8am, so a visit fits before work.

Walk in to either branch, any day of the week. If you'd rather have a fixed time, book one in advance.

Consultation, results and any paperwork you need for an insurer or a visa office, all in English.

We tell you what a visit costs before it starts, and nothing is added to the bill after you leave.
Nine things people walk in for. Each one has its own page with what it involves and what it costs.

A doctor-led program that starts with blood work, not a prescription.

A full metabolic panel, and a doctor who sits down and explains it.

Private testing, under your own name or not, with results usually next day.

Injectables and skin treatment, carried out by a licensed doctor, not a technician.

Coughs, infections, stomach trouble and repeat prescriptions. Walk in, no appointment.

For a visa, a work permit or a new employer — issued the same day.

Routine boosters and travel cover, sorted in one visit before you fly.

Family planning, cervical screening and hormones, with a female doctor on request.

Hormones, urinary symptoms and sexual function, discussed plainly and without fuss.

If your doctor recommends something that isn't listed here, they will tell you the cost before you decide.
A consultation at MedConsult starts at ฿500 — a fraction of Bangkok hospital rates, with no appointment and no waiting list. The prices above cover consultations, tests, screening and paperwork, and they are the same at Thonglor and Silom.
Medicines are quoted by your doctor during the visit, once they have examined you and know what you actually need — so you never pay for a prescription you did not need.
Pay by cash, card or PromptPay. Every visit comes with an itemised receipt and diagnosis codes, which is what insurers ask for when you claim.
A British GP with over 35 years in medicine, more than 25 of them in Thailand. She founded MedConsult in 2003 and still sees patients herself, at both branches.

Dr. Donna qualified at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and has practised in the UK, the US, New Zealand and Hong Kong before settling in Bangkok. She learned Thai to read-and-write standard in order to sit the Thai medical examinations, and passed.
She consulted for years at Bangkok's largest international hospitals, so if you need a specialist she can point you to the right one. In 2022 she was named Women in Business at the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand King Power International Business Awards.
You get time to explain what is wrong, in your own words. Dr. Donna examines you, talks you through what she thinks it is, and tells you what the visit costs before it starts. If medicine is the right answer for you, you get it explained — what it does, and what it will cost.
Between them, the doctors and nurses at MedConsult speak English, Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Burmese, so you can be seen in the language you are most comfortable in.
No. Both branches take walk-ins every day — Thonglor from 7:00 and Silom from 8:00 — so you can turn up without booking and see a doctor. If you would rather hold a fixed time, book either branch and we will keep the slot for you. Mornings are usually the quietest.
Thonglor opens at 07:00 and Silom at 08:00, and both close at 19:00, every day of the week including weekends and public holidays. Most clinics in Bangkok open at ten, which is why an early visit here can be done before work.
Yes. Consultations at both branches are in English or Thai, whichever you prefer. Results, prescriptions and any paperwork you need for an insurer or a visa office are written in English. We see expatriates, long-stay residents, short-stay tourists, Thai patients and corporate clients.
A doctor consultation starts at ฿500, the same at Thonglor and Silom. You are told what the visit costs before it starts, and if your doctor recommends a test or a treatment they tell you that price before you agree to it. Nothing is added afterwards.
Thonglor is on Floor 3 of Building 2 at The Racquet Club, Sukhumvit 49/9, Khlong Tan Nuea, a short walk from BTS Thonglor, with free parking on site. Silom is on the 3rd floor of the 64 Building, Si Lom Road, Suriya Wong, close to BTS Sala Daeng exit 3. Call the branch if you are outside and cannot find the entrance.
Yes. A certificate for a visa, a work permit or a new employer is issued once the doctor has examined you, and you leave with it the same visit. It is quick — walk in, be seen, and take the certificate with you. Certificates start at ฿100.
We issue itemised receipts with diagnosis codes, which is what most insurers ask for when you claim. Whether your particular plan covers a consultation is between you and your insurer, so check with them before you come. We do not publish a list of insurers, because the list changes.
Yes, and you do not have to explain why. Use whatever name you are comfortable giving and your visit is recorded under it. We only need your legal name if you want an itemised receipt for an insurance claim, a prescription, or a certificate.
Two branches, both open every day, both with the same prices. Pick whichever is closer.
