Our Clinic
Thailand's health system is primarily based on 'tertiary care'. That is, specialised consultative care, where you would normally go to hospital to see a specialist for a particularly ailment.
This has some advantages but also many drawbacks in that you would not get continuity of care for other illnesses and you would not build a relationship with a doctor who knows you, your circumstances and your family.
General Practice medicine enables your doctor to monitor your general health over time and to able to respond to a variety of illnesses in a more holistic way. When needed we are able to make referrals to the best specialist independently from the ties of other hospitals in the city.
In recognition of the need for general practice medicine we have established a GP practice at the centrally placed Racquet Club on Sukhumvit Soi 49/9.

MedConsult Foundation
Through the activities of our Medical Director Dr Donna Robinson, Medconsult has been able to reach a number of small charities based in Bangkok and on the borders of Thailand. The MedConsult Foundation was set up to be able to seek funds to assist these charities and has charitable status for a number of individual projects based in Thailand.

Our Director - Dr Donna Robinson
Dr Donna Robinson is a western trained doctor practicing in Thailand with a Thai Medical License.
She is one of a very few number of doctors in Thailand who have achieved this status and as a consequence is able to offer our clients the confidence and familiarity of a completely bi-lingual international medical service.

Counseling
Seeking the Right advice and Support? MedConsult acknowledges that life in Bangkok is not always easy and sometime we need some extra help to get back on track.
At MedConsult we can help with providing qualified counselors in a neutral environment to help with Family and relationship counseling, depression, grief and so on.
Prescriptions
MedConsult offers a prescription and re-fill service to our clients who may need medication on a regular basis.
Once you have had your initial consultation with Dr Donna we can orgainse for repeat prescriptions to be available to you at regular internals.
For a small additional fee we are also able to have your medication delivered to your home* to save you time and hassle of collecting from the surgery.

Home Visits
If you are unable to attend our clinic, Dr Donna is able (by appointment ) to visit you at home or your hospital to assess your medical needs and advise on medial care. For individuals needing nursing care at home, for example post natal care, dressing changes, care for elderly residents or visitors, we can arrange for nurse cover on a temporary, periodic or long term basis.
